The Tucson Computer Society does not
provide help or support for Apple computers. But never fear, there is lots of

PC keyboards that have USB connectors work fine when attached to Macs.
All Mac keyboards work fine when connected to PCs.
The "alt / option" key on a Mac keyboard is equivalent
to the "Alt" key on a PC keyboard
and vice versa.
The "command" key on a Mac keyboard is equivalent to the
"Windows" key on a PC keyboard
and vice versa.
On the lower-left section of a PC keyboard, the
"Windows" key is to the left of the "Alt" key.
This means that when you use a PC keyboard on a Mac, the "command
equivalent" key is to the left of the "alt / option equivalent"
key.

These
"workshops" are designed by Apple Corporation for beginners.

MACINTOSH & APPLE USERS GROUPS IN
TUCSON:
Great
free computer training sessions are provided by the
"Tucson
Macintosh Users Group".
Their

meetings offer multiple training lectures with demonstrations of how to use a
Macintosh computer. Most meetings offer training sessions for both beginners
and advanced Mac users.

please consider participating in the "Tucson Apple Core" club.

OASIS HAS ONE MACINTOSH CLASS
You
can take a course called "Learning More About
Your Mac Laptop" at the Junior League facility of OASIS. OASIS is also
known as "Tucson OASIS". "Tucson OASIS" is part of a
nationwide organization called "Oasis Institute" that is
headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.

Classes
at OASIS are scheduled within a three-month "trimester":
The
first trimester runs from January through April.

second trimester runs from May through August.

published three times a year. To make sure that you are on the mailing list for

3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

no class is found, it means that this course is not available in the present
trimester.
