WEBSITE
TO MAKE SNAPSHOTS
SUMMARY:
Using the
""Picanom.com" Web site, you can take snapshots (still photos)
with your Webcam without installing any additional software on your computer.
BASIC INFORMATION
ABOUT PICANOM
"Picanom.com" can only be
used to take low resolution photos.
"Picanom.com" does not
provide you with Web-based storage for the snapshot photos that hat you take.
USING THE
PICANOM.COM WEB SITE
Using Step 1:
Start your Web browser.
Using Step 2:
Go to http://www2.picanom.com/

Using Step 3:
Click on the orange
"Snap!" tab.
Using Step 4:
Click on the "Allow"
button in the "Adobe Flash Settings" dialog box:


Using Step 5:
Your Webcam's video will now be
displayed:

Using Step 6:
Click on the "Snap"
button:

Using Step 7:
The thumbnail of your snapshot is
now in the "filmstrips" under "Contact" and "Games":
Using Step 8:
Click on the thumbnail of your
snapshot:

Using Step 9:
Your snapshot is now shown as an
overlay on top of the main video screen:

Using Step 10:
Click on the "Save" button
in the upper left-hand corner of the photo:

Using Step 11:
A "Download" button will
appear on the photo:

Using Step 12:
Click on the "Download"
button.
Using Step 13:
A "Save As" dialog box
will appear:

Click on "Desktop" in the
left pane in order to highlight "Desktop":

Click on the
"Save" button.

Using Step 16:
The "Save As" dialog box
will disappear.
Using Step 17:
Locate the photo file that you have just
saved to the "Desktop".
Using Step 18:
Move this photo file to a more
permanent location, edit it, etc.
